I ordered a L and they were comfortable (tho am convinced they run-small) and great to sleep in. Waist band elastic could be a looser- or removed all together- for an even more comfortable fit.
I would give 5 stars, but there are a couple things I would change. I have a huge amount of hir and this cap is a little on the small side for it. I also bought one for my boyfriend's daughter who also has thick big hair and she said the same thing.
The only other thing...can they be made only elastic and no tie? I only have one arm and struggle to tie it. the tie is usually in my face as I have to tie it in front using my teeth. ;) Other than that...I really like it! :)
